It’s a regular question, is my bike suitable for touring? Well I guess a lot depends on what type of touring you want to do? If you want to cross Europe as quickly as possible then a large capacity, high performance super tourer (read Pan, FJR1300 etc) is the way to go. For our tours though, where we try to keep to around 200 miles per day (plenty on B roads) with regular breaks almost any bike will do the job. As you can see from the link picture, there are FJR’s, CBR 600’s, BMW GS’s etc. In a nutshell, it doesn’t matter if you are on an R1 or a KTM Duke, you will have a great time on your bike with Blueyondertours!
