Your Tour Leader and the man behind Blueyonder Motorcycle Tours, has been riding 30 years and has lost count of the numbers of bikes owned, but memorable ones include his first, a KH125, one of the first CBR1000s and a CBR600RR. His current machines include the ubiquitous BMW R1200GS and a Honda Fireblade 954. Has an almost photographic memory for roads and hates satnav! Alan has passed the IAM motorcycle and car tests as well as the St John Ambulance, Motorcyclist first aid course.
Best biking memory: “many good ones, but one of the best was looking in my mirrors and seeing an echelon of mates’ bikes cranked over during a trip to France many years ago”
Riding style: best described as very brisk but at the same time precise and smooth and safe.

Tour Guide. Again many years riding experience, (he started in his teens) including a stint in sidecar racing! Dave is a past owner of bikes such as, a GSXR1100 and Aprilia Falco. Currently rides the superb new KTM SMT990. Dave is a thoroughly nice bloke, quiet and reliable as a Rolex.
Riding style: Dave is a top rider, rarely gets flustered and is ultra smooth, safe and very quick.

Tour Guide. Steve’s background is in motocross, where in his youth (long lost!) he was more than just useful. Got back into road bikes ten years ago since when he’s owned a Honda VFR , CCM Supermoto and a number of BMWs. He currently rides a BMW R1150GS. Steve is a total gent both on and off a bike. Steve is another IAM trained rider.
Riding style: Rides his 1150GS improbably quickly. Like the rest of the team, extremely smooth and calm style.

Tour Guide. “V” cut her teeth on the likes of Honda CB250s and her first love a Morini 500 Sport! This helps explain her addiction to anything V twin and Italian, she currently owns and rides an immaculate Ducati Monster S2R1000. “V” just can’t stop riding her bike and has ridden 10 day trips around France, Yorkshire and Scotland as well as doing our tours!
“V” speaks fluent French and is a great person to have around who keeps us all organised and in check.
Riding Style: Rides her Dukes with great enthusiasm and gusto, smooth and up to speed with great road experience and common sense.
