Champagne to Cider 6th – 9th April 2012 (ref CC0604)
A fabulous new for 2012 tour for experienced riders. This will take through France
via the heart of Champagne and into Normandy on a circular out via Dover, back via
Cherbourg route. Champagne is relatively undiscovered by British riders but is a
gem waiting to be discovered. We will ride through “bubbly” country and we will more
than likely sample some of the products in the evenings! The ride will take in the
Chateau featured in the TV programme Merlin and move on to Normandy via a meandering
route that includes all the best terrain and roads that this famous cider producing
region has to offer!
The final overnight is in historic Bayeux and we will round off the tour with a run along the famous D-Day Normandy beaches to Cherbourg and the ferry home.

Devon & Cornwall 2nd – 4th June (ref DC0206)
This new tour is a great introduction to motorcycle touring. This carefully crafted
motorcycle tour to North Devon and Cornwall will take you through some of the best
motorbike riding to be found in Southern England, wherever possible using the best
and quietest A and rural B roads available.
Day 1 The tour starts with a Sunday morning meet up at Winchester from where we will ride out via a mix B and A roads down through the counties of Hampshire, Wiltshire and Somerset in to Devon. Our route will then take us north over Exmoor and on towards the North Devon Coast and Bude which will be our base for the next two nights.
Day 2 features a ride out from Bude through Cornwall down to Lands End taking in stunning coastal roads that hug the North Cornish coastline. See glimpses of these on the video! We return over Bodmin Moor and the flowing roads of the Fowey peninsular.
Day 3 see’s the tour taking the high and twisty roads over Dartmoor with plenty of stops to admire the scenery, including the frighteningly austere Dartmoor Prison, as well as sampling the delights of the remote Warren Hill Inn and then on to south Dorset and concluding back at Winchester.
Each day will be over 200 miles and expect to cover approximately 650 miles on this tour.

Ardennes & Eifel Mountains - 27th - 31st July 2012 (ref AE2707)
An exciting new tour for 2012 will take you through the Belgian Ardenne (Battle of The Bulge country), the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the wonderful German Eifel Mountains, home to the infamous Nordschlieffe Nurburgring as well as stunning views and chocolate box towns and castles.
This is an “experts” A tour, taking in demanding roads that give immense satisfaction.

The Somme & Arras 21st – 23rd September 2012 (ref TS2109)
The name The Somme resonates down the years. The memory of the terrible carnage of
July 1916 still lives on today. Here at Blueyonder we are bikers with a real sense
of history and we know lots of you are too! This short and relatively easy tour through
Northern France will take you along some excellent French rural D roads of the beautiful
Pas de Calais countryside and in to the heart of the rolling Somme region where we
will based for the next two nights in the historic and very attractive old town of
Arras.
The Day 1 meet up will take place in time to catch the 8.00am Eurotunnel service,
after disembarking we are straight in to the ride along the terrific coast road passed
the Caps towards Boulogne before cutting inland to get to grips with rural France’s
lovely open and sweeping D roads which will offer something both to the French touring
newcomer and expert alike. We will stop off for coffee and croissants at some typically
French cafes with the last call of the day will being Vimy Ridge before ending the
ride at La Grande Place, Arras.
Day 2 see’s us following The Somme battlefield circuit de souvenir including the unmissable memorials of Beaumont Hamel, Thiepval, Lochnagar crater along with lunch at the quirky Tommys Bar, before ending the day with a great return ride to Arras.
Day 3 takes us on a great circuitous ride back to Eurotunnel at Calais for the late afternoon service through, what is a surprisingly beautiful and little known part of France. This is a great introductory tour and what better way to start your motorcycle touring experience of France? A rated tours: Tours rated as an A are designed for experienced and confident riders and are suitable for bikes of 600cc or over. They are generally less suitable for riding with a pillion passenger.
B rated tours: Are as A above but are more suitable for bikes with a rider and a pillion.
C rated tours: Are suitable for all levels of experience (minimum of full unrestricted motorcycle licence) and all bikes over 400cc
