The company was founded by Martin Fletcher and Martin Grafton who have both spent a good deal of their lives riding all types of motorcycles in many different parts of the world. Both have been riding since they were seventeen with a background of on and off road riding, and have experience on most types of bike. Both are experienced and active ROSPA tested riders with a desire to see safe enjoyable riding for everyone. With their partners back at home in Devon, they also run luxury holiday and touring parks.

Having enjoyed the freedom and experience that only motorcycle touring can provide, both of Martin's wives wished to join them on holidays but with greater options in refinement and luxury. They all wanted the quality principles and personal care that they provide on their 5 star holiday parks, to be available whilst on the bikes. The idea was born to bring together for others, absolutely top end tours for solo's or couples,  in the shape of Blue Yonder Tours.
